ÜBERBLICK
A seasonal identity for a coastal restaurant that changes its menu, and its colours, four times a year.
One typographic system, four palettes. The menu is printed in-house every season, so the templates had to be simple enough for the kitchen to run them.
One sentence the whole system has to protect
Every brand has one idea that the rest of the system has to protect. We start by naming it in one sentence, then test whether every touchpoint would still make sense without it.

The sentence becomes the brief for everything that follows — type, colour, motion, and the order in which things are said.
What the others cannot copy
What the competition cannot copy is rarely the product. It is the way the product is explained. We map the market's clichés and deliberately leave them to the others.

Two audiences, one identity
Two audiences with opposite expectations had to meet the same identity: the trade wanted proof and detail, the public wanted a single memorable gesture.

The answer was a system with two registers — a dense, documentary layer and a loud, editorial layer — that share one grid and one wordmark.
Shipped in one season, by three suppliers
The identity shipped across packaging, signage, the website and a print campaign within one season, produced by three different suppliers from the same set of files.
